Vendor managed inventory (VMI) is a supply chain agreement between a vendor and a buyer for the vendor to manage, maintain and optimize the buyer's inventory while it is in possession of the buyer.
This helps streamline inventory management and order fulfillment because the inventory is replaced without the buyer having to initiate a purchase order.
KLINGER GPI will work with you to determine the best min / max quantity levels, and the products you need to keep things up & running. After an agreement is met, we build and stock a product board at your plant location. Each week we'll stop by and check the inventory, and replenish back up to the predetermined max quantity levels.
